Venom: Let There Be Carnage unleashes the carnage on theaters tomorrow. Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as the first film in the symbiote series, will be rated PG-13 by Sony and Columbia Pictures. The last two years have been a whirlwind for, well, everyone. Especially for the people behind every highly anticipated film that was supposed to be released in 2020. And then rescheduled again and again. The release date for “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” has shifted so many times that it’s nearly as chaotic as the symbiote’s breakfast preparation in the trailer.
Fans may finally get to see the “Venom” sequel, which appears to be pushing the limits of its PG-13 rating.
Details
On October 1, Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be released exclusively in theaters. Andy Serkis directed the film, which was written by Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey). The film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, a former journalist who has become host to an alien parasitic symbiote known as Venom. The sequel to 2018’s surprise hit will explore Eddie and Venom’s growing symbiotic relationship, as well as Eddie’s quest to get his career back on track, as they face a new threat in the form of serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). Cletus Kasady also known as the titular Carnage, first appeared during the first film’s end credits.
TomHardy seems to be heavily involved in the sequel, sharing the “story” in Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage alongside Marcel. Rounding out the cast is Naomi Harris as the villainous Spider-Man Scream, along with Michelle Williams, Reed Scott, and Stephen Graham.
How to Watch Venom: Let There Be Carnage?
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is only releasing in the theaters for the time being. It has been some speculation that Netflix intends to license additional Sony films but has not specified which ones. So, Venom 2 may be available on Netflix after the “pay 1 window,”. An official Netflix release date is not yet available. If you don’t want to wait, you might want to go see the movie in a theater.
