Job Context

We are currently looking for experienced individual for the position of Lathe Operator, who is familiar with general lathe machine operation and mechanical skills. Hands on experience in detecting malfunctions, replacing worn tools, cleaning debris from machine.

Job Responsibilities

1. Must be familiar with general lathe machine operation and mechanical skills.
2. Mechanical problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills a must.
3. Must be able to read a tape measure, verify dimensions, use a straightedge and other measuring devices.
4. Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.
5. Be familiar with the preparation of tools for machining.
6. Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
7. Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
8. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing and threading.
9. Detecting malfunctions, replacing worn tools, cleaning debris from machine.
10. Report any faulty operation of equipment or defective materials to the area supervisor.
11. Operate lifting devices for movement of materials and other equipment as needed.
12. Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
13. Abide by the company safety and personnel policies
14. Carry out any other responsibilities that the supervisor may assign from time to time or as needed by the company.
15. Ability to work overtime as needed.
16. Must be able to work without constant supervision.
17. Other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements : At least 8 year(s), The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): lathe machine, Mechanical. The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)

Additional Requirements : Age at most 45 years, Only males are allowed to apply, Strong team player, Excellent Communication Skills. Job Location : Dhaka (Ashulia) Salary : Negotiable
