Prem Puran
Prem Puran (Love Myth) is a 35-minute Bangladeshi film directed and written by young filmmaker Zahid Gogon and launched on the OTT platform Chorki on February 12, 2021.
Shanu abandoned her opulent life after falling in love with Tajul, an idealistic young man, and left behind only a brief note with her new address. Shimul, after a long search, was able to locate Shanu in a back alley of an old township, thanks to that note in which he invents a new proletarian, Shanu. Where Shanu and Tajul are giving everything they have, every breath they take and working extremely hard to run the family in a responsible manner. With our naked eyes, we cannot see those battling to breathe. We can probably interpret these labored breaths as the precious love of life. “Myth of Love” is the name of the prehistoric narrative about this breath.
