Nokia has launched their budget-oriented smartphone Nokia G20. The phone highlights a very big battery of 5050 mAh capacity and features a 6.52 inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Nokia G20 is fueled by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with PowerVR GE8320 for GPU.
G20 runs on Android 11 for start and will get two years of operating system updates. As for security updates, Nokia will provide 3 years’ worth of monthly updates. The smartphone’s body dimensions are 164.9 x 76 x 9.2 (the measurements are in millimeters ). G20 weighs 197 grams.
Nokia G20 conveys a quad back camera arrangement with a 48-megapixel main camera. The other three sensors for the main camera are a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. As for taking selfies, the phone features a single 8-megapixel wide-angle front-facing sensor.
Nokia G20 is powered by a 5,050mAh battery which is backed by a 10W charger is supposed to last as long as three days on a solitary charge. For transferring data and charging, the device has a Type-C port that features USB on the go. The Nokia G20 has a side-mounted finger scanner for unlocking the device.
Capacity-wise, Nokia released two variants of the phone- 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both variants are available in two colors alternatives- Glacier and Night. G20 has support for NFC depending on the region you are using the phone from.
Nokia G20 is priced at around $190 in the US and € 150.07 in Europe. Nokia announced G20’s availability in India. You can pre-book the 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage version for around Rs. 13,000 if you are in India. The pre-booking will start from 7 July.
