OnePlus Buds Z2 with 11mm Dynamic Drivers and Active Noise Cancellation

The OnePlus Buds Z2 earbuds is the successor to the OnePlus Buds Z, which was released last year. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is an update to the previous generation, including active noise cancellation and larger dynamic drivers. The earbuds also have a longer battery life than the Buds Z that the business previously marketed. The OnePlus Buds Z2 also has a Pro Gaming option for mobile players who want low latency.

Specifications:

The 11mm dynamic drivers in the OnePlus Buds Z2 are slightly larger than the 10mm drivers in the original OnePlus Buds Z. When compared to last year’s model, the earbuds now offer ANC support, which is a significant improvement. The OnePlus Buds Z2 are said to be capable of noise reduction up to 40dB, according to OnePlus. Transparency Mode allows users to hear ambient sounds while listening to music or talking on the phone.

Three micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) microphones act as feedback, feedforward, and beamforming microphones in each OnePlus Buds Z2 earphone. There’s also Dolby Atmos compatibility for a more immersive music experience.

According to OnePlus, the Buds Z2 can provide 38 hours of listening time on a single charge with the included charging case. It’s a significant improvement over the original Buds Z’s 20-hour listening period. With Flash Charge quick charging, the earbuds can provide five hours of listening time in just ten minutes of charging. The Buds Z2 has a 40mAh battery in each earbud that is certified for five hours of listening with ANC on and seven hours without ANC. The charging case, on the other hand, includes a 520mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging connection.

When using the Pro Gaming mode, the earbuds have Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and a latency rate of as low as 94ms. The earbuds also offer Cinematic Movie, Immersive Music, and Mobile Gaming modes, which allow you to customize your listening experience according to the content you’re listening to.

OnePlus has selected an improved design for the earbuds, which is said to have a 15% shorter stem and a lighter build than the Buds Z. The Buds Z2 earbuds have an IP55-rated body that protects them from dust, water, and sweat. The bundled charging case, on the other hand, is IPX4-rated to protect against water splashes.

OnePlus Buds Z2 Price:

Buds Z2 has a retail price of $99. The earbuds are available in Pearl White and Obsidian Black. For the time being, it is only available in the United States, but the earbuds will be available in Europe and the United Kingdom beginning December 20.

Users who do not have a OnePlus phone must download the HeyMelody app to gain access to the Buds Z2’s customization options and settings, as well as the noise-canceling tweaks. The Find My Buds function of the proprietary app allows users to locate their earphones using their smartphones.
