The Sony Alpha 7 IV Features BIONZ XR & 33 MP CMOS Sensor 

Sony has launched the Alpha 7 IV interchangeable-lens camera. It has a new 33-megapixel full-frame back-illuminated CMOS picture sensor, a wide ISO sensitivity range of 50-204,800, a 15-stop dynamic range, the newest BIONZ XR image processing engine, and two new flashes, the HVL-F60RM2 and HVL-F46RM.

For varied creative outcomes, the Sony Alpha 7 IV includes ten settings, including S-Cinetone, S-Log3, and Creative Look. With 4K 60p movies, the Sony camera claims to give up to 2.5x slow motion. For smoother gradations, it includes a 10-bit 4:2:2 All-I XAVC S-I.

The Sony Alpha 7 IV features a 33-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensor and an 8x processing speed BIONZ XR image processor. It is also touted to have a 15-stop dynamic range and a large ISO sensitivity range of 50 to 204,800.

The camera features optical 5-axis in-body image stabilization with 5.5-step correction and Active Mode hand-held movie filming.

The Sony Alpha IV features increased hybrid focusing speed, AI-based real-time Eye autofocus, and real-time photo and video tracking. With 759 phase-detection AF points in a high-density focal-plane AF system that covers about 94 percent of the image area, it can shoot continuously at up to 10 frames per second with AF tracking.

The Sony Alpha 7 IV has a vari-angle LCD touch monitor for easy positioning. It comes with an OLED quad-VGA viewfinder with 1.6 times the resolution of the Alpha 7 III. There are over ten presets to pick from, as well as eight settings. S-Cinetone, S-Log3, and Creative Look, Creative Look IN, and Creative Look BW are among the presets available.

The camera contains a dial that allows you to quickly choose between still, video, and S&Q modes. The camera’s back dial can also be customized, and there are new mode-specific choices in the interface.

The Sony Alpha 7 IV, as previously stated, claims to be capable of 2.5x slow motion with 4K 60p movies and includes a 10-bit 4:2:2 All-I XAVC S-I for smoother gradations. In-body wireless LAN (2.4GHz and 5GHz bands), Bluetooth, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities. It also includes high-resolution 4K video and real-time live streaming via USB connection.
