You can finally use YouTube Music on Wear OS 3. If you’re a music lover with a new smartwatch mind, this is good news from Google.
YouTube Music for Wear OS gives you access to all your songs and playlists and playback controls. Most importantly, you can listen to music directly from your device, as the application includes offline music storage support. Like the same moves on Spotify, this offline support is especially useful for athletes who want to work out without towing their phones.
Unfortunately, most old smartwatches are out of luck. The YouTube Music application is only available on devices running Wear OS 3. Currently limited to Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and GalaxyWatch 4Classic. Fortunately, the new platform will be rolled out to more devices in the coming months.
